Life Size Tape Sculpture
My 8th graders loved this project! They worked in groups to create these then we installed them in the library at school!
Giant Candy
6th grade created giant candy. We took 2 large pieces of paper and painted on them with water color paint. They glued them together and stuff them with paper. Candy Sculpture! They loved it!

Giacometti inspired sculpture
These sculptures were made with wire, tinfoil and masking tape. They are sitting on a clay base then painted with a "hammered metal" spray paint. Students had a lot of fun with these!

Low Relief with Paper
This was a project I did with my 8th grade sculpture class. The idea was to introduce sculpture going from 2D(flat paper) to a 3D sculpture.

Chuck Close Inspired art!
7th Grade Chuck Close Portraits. I found this idea from a wonderful website. Frecklephoto.com My students used black tempra paint for the portrait and chose between water color and oil pastels for the background.
1pt perspective. My students had a lot of fun with this one! Water color on paper.
